Dr. Leah Schild
Dr. Leah Schild is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York. She received her doctoral degree from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf School of Psychology in 2005. Her scope of expertise includes clinical and forensic psychology. In the course of her twenty years in practice, Dr. Schild has provided services to hundreds of families involved with child welfare services. She has been retained as an evaluator and expert witness for law firms litigating civil cases. Dr. Schild has offered expert testimony regarding clinical/forensic psychology in New Jersey, New York, and federal court.
At The Lazar Center, Dr. Schild will be providing therapeutic services to adults. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, PTSD, and parenting challenges. Additionally, she has a profound understanding of the dynamics of childhood trauma and its impact on adult functioning. She will be offering trauma-focused treatment, as well.
